We all came out of last night’s meeting with lists of fabulous potential vendors to contact for the upcoming market. Many other tasks were assigned, such as figuring how to make parking easier for visitors – ideas from off site parking partnerships to pedicabs were tossed around. We also brainstormed a potential name change, and with it, involving the youth in our community to develop the new look with logos and posters. Also we realized our sponsorship spot at the Alberta Farmer’s Market Association’s AGM event is coming up fast! So there will be lots of preparation for that, and we look forward to some great learnings and opportunities to come out of the evening.
So, off to work we go! If you know of any potential vendors who would be a nice fit with our “vision”, please let us know!
