Our task force met for the first time in December of 209 to develop our guiding principles which will lead the reformation of the 2010 market. It was fantastic to have Heather join us as she has been The Guru in past years. Lots of fabulous insight, throwing all kinds of questions, ideas, on the table.We all went away energized and with a few preliminary tasks to do.
February is poised to be a busy month. Our second brainstorming session will occur this Thursday. The following week Hillhurst Sunnyside Farmer’s Market is proud to sponsor an evening for the Alberta Farmers’ Market Association at the Red & White Club. The following day is the Market Manager training, and we will need to get cracking on contacting some key vendors! Happily we have a few tentative big name (to us) vendors already!
