On that last post, you may be wondering, who ARE you people, anyhow? Well, “we”, formally and informally, are a combination task force made up of a very few staff members of the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association, a not for profit organization, and a handful of people who live in the community, variously described as “farmer’s market junkies”, “foodies”, and such, who all have a collective passion for high quality local farm fresh goods, local food movements, and community. As we progress we are starting to get others energized about our venture – potential vendors who want to join or help, community businesses who are voicing their support, neighbours who want to keep posted. “We” are growing, our world comes closer to us as we expand, get involved, and get to know the people around us.
